GLI’s spirit of corporate social responsibility is at the heart of what we believe as a company, and it pulses throughout each the company’s global locations. We endeavor to be a welcome part of our host communities, and we understand that in order to achieve that objective, we must be mindful, active stewards of our core values and the values of the communities in which we work and live. As a company, we pursue four key areas of corporate social responsibility, and we also empower our employees to engage in initiatives on their own. Community Relations
Charitable organizations are the heart of any community, and at GLI, we are honored to support organizations in our host cities worldwide. We support local chapters of numerous health-related organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and many others. We also believe no one should go hungry, so we support organizations such as the Arvada Community Food Bank, The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Three Square and more. We also support tribal community sustainability through multiple tribal-related organizations.
Education
Education is the heart of the future, which is why we support innovative programs like Andson Youth Financial Literacy, Reach Out and Read, Spirit of Sovereignty Scholarship and UNLV Foundation. We also provide cost-free training to regulators at events such as our Regulators Roundtable and regional seminars. Our education initiatives extend to our employees, where our tuition reimbursement program helps to ensure our employees are empowered to continually achieve even greater heights.
Green Initiatives
We understand that the environment is the heart of our world. In addition to the support we give to environmental causes, we engage in green initiatives throughout our global network of offices. For example, in our world headquarters, a top-to-bottom examination of the entire building led to reductions in power usage and paper consumption. In each of our offices, we promote recycling and seek out vendors and products with a greener composition. We also created green-friendly tools for our clients, such as GLI Link®, Point.Click.Transfer.® and Point.Click.Submit.®, which eliminate paperwork and reduce carbon footprint by eliminating physical shipping of devices and systems.
Diversity
Diversity is the heart of our workforce. Our commitment to diversity is also present in the community organizations we support, such as Global Gaming Women, Honor Flight of Southern Nevada, Downtown Eastside Women's Centre and multiple tribal organizations and charities. We also vigorously pursue and engage with vendors whose support for diversity matches our own.
